Illawarra Fly With stunning views, guided tours, a visitor centre and cafe, the Fly is a great place for a day out for families. Botanosaurus Rex @ Botanic Garden Take a walk in the footsteps of the dinosaurs at the Botanic Garden during the spring school holidays. See the incredible plants and the ancient landscapes in which these extinct giants roamed. Holidays of Discovery daily activities include the Do-you-think-he-saw-us Treasure Hunt, Dino Crafts, and the No More Dodos Garden Show. Activities are suitable for children aged three to 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Bookings are only required for vacation care groups and can be made using the phone and email supplied. Sausage sizzle sandwiches and cool drinks available for purchase from the Lions Club. Coffee and tea may be purchased from the garden’s on-site coffee van, BeanzAround - located near the playground. Homemade gifts are also for sale from the Friends’ Frog Hollow Homemade Crafts Stall. Fun-Damentals Sports Activities For primary school children, activities are all based on Fundamental Movement Skills, addressing at least four sports a day and covering sports such as AFL, touch football, soccer, OzTag, basketball, hockey, cricket, softball/teeball. Vegemite Surfgroms Surfing Lessons @ The Farm A fun program that gets kids together promoting social awareness and co-ordination which continues into developing their surfing skills. Steam Train Day - Bowral To Robertson Visit the Southern Highlands, with a stopover at Robertson for more than two hours.
