The Wollongong Hawks officially unveiled their new playing strip at the club's 2014-15 season launch at the Novotel on Wednesday night.
Long-time Hawks fans will notice the uniform resembles the club's iconic strip of the early 90s.
The new kit features a horizontal "Hawks wing" sash across the jersey and left leg of the shorts.
Hawks owner James Spenceley was involved in the design of the uniform.
"We're ecstatic ... a unique crisp new look, our most visually striking uniform in club history," Spenceley said.
"The US college-style watermarked design on the back of the jersey is like no other jersey we've seen in the NBL and sets us apart from the rest of the league."
Wollongong will play in red singlets at home and white on the road.
The Hawks will be decked out in the new jerseys when they host Townsville in round one on October 10.
Playing strips weren't the only big talking point at the club's season launch.
A new team anthem - written and performed entirely by the players and coaches - aired publicly for the first time.
Slow-motion snippets of the must-see performance have screened on TV over the past few days.
The song was recorded a few weeks ago after a Hawks training session. Prior to shooting the video, players and coaches received tips from a vocal trainer and dance teacher, in addition to taking part in creative writing exercises.
The video can be seen on the Hawks website and YouTube.
