South Coast Wolves will unveil a large portion of their squad for 2015 this week with a number of changes expected for the new campaign.
Daniel Collison, James Baldacchino and Zac MacKenzie were the first players to be announced on Monday with several more players set to be added through the week.
The return of Tom Hamilton, Lachlan Reus and Jordan Murray will be announced on Tuesday.
The club has cast its net wider than the local community and will include some Sydney-based talent to its roster.
"Each team is going to be looking to bring in fresh faces and we are no different," club president Bobby Mazevski said.
"We are looking to improve the squad from last season without disrespecting the squad we had there.
"We finished mid-table, which was a very respectable position given the position we were in at the start of the year.
"To be honest we are gunning for a top-five spot and to do that we realised we need to strengthen a few areas and bring in a few players which can give us a little bit extra edge, experience, tenacity and enthusiasm."
The new campaign will also see a bunch of experienced players depart the club and move back to the Illawarra Premier League.
Club captain Jacob Timpano, Ricky Zucco, Ben Zucco and Jack Keating are all set to suit up in the local competition with others flirting with the idea.
Timpano cited personal and business commitments as the main reasons for his decision not to continue next campaign.
He will more than likely play an off-field role at the Wolves in 2015.
"We will certainly look to have him involved in the club in some capacity," Mazevski added.
"He has been a great ambassador for the club."
Defender Michael Robinson will head overseas for five months of next year and has decided to sit the entire season out.
Matt Bailey is set to meet the club to discuss his future, as will Steve Hayes.
Hayes missed the entire last campaign after injuring his knee during pre-season and has been working with physio and gym staff to regain his fitness.
Coach Nahuel Arrarte said Wolves also looked at adding players from the local Premier League but were unable to persuade their targets to make the added commitments involved in playing NSW National Premier League.
Nonetheless, he said he was looking forward to his first full season in charge.
"From day one when I came on board last year it was all about working as a team," Arrarte said.
"The first grade, the under 20s and 18s and the coaching staff. It is not just about myself, it is about everyone in the club working together for that goal."
"That is what we made clear to all the players that we re-signed and all the players we are speaking to."
The club will also host senior and youth trials for the new season.
Trials are at Macedonia Park and begin on Wednesday, October 8 from 6pm-8pm.
