A bumper field of 290 players will be chasing important rankings points in the annual Tennis Wollongong Junior Tournament over the October long weekend.

Boys and girls will travel from across NSW and interstate to play singles and doubles in four age divisions - 11 years, 12 years, 14 years and 16 years.
The tournament carries a Tennis Australia silver ranking.
With so many matches scheduled over the three days starting on Saturday, matches will be played not only at Wollongong's Beaton Park, but also at Aces, Collegians, Bulli and Meadows.
Among Illawarra juniors in contention in singles are 12 years boys' fourth seed Anton Willett and Corrimal's Mia Repac, the No 2 seed in the 12 years girls.
Thirroul's Shion Watabe is the top seed in the 16 years girls' singles, with Scott Gardiner and Emil Thanning seeded second and third in the 16 years boys respectively.
