The Bulls scored 290 in their limited overs one-day match with Redland all-rounder Simon Milenko, the reigning Peter Burge Medallist, scoring an impressive 40.
Ireland, who are on a familiarisation tour of Australia and New Zealand in preparation for this season’s ICC Cricket World Cup, could only manage 130 in reply.
Coach Stuart Law told the Bulletin that the Bulls were shaping up for a big season and all players were training hard and eager to go.
The Bulls played Ireland on the Gold Coast at the weekend with the seasoned established players taking centre stage.
“Today’s match involved many of the younger and fringe players and they took full advantage of the opportunity to impress,” he said.
