Helensburgh and Corrimal have already claimed first innings points but a host of clubs have sights on an outright in Saturday's second day of round two in Illawarra cricket.
Balgownie were unbeaten through the 18 competition rounds last season but their undefeated run is over this campaign after Corrimal took first innings points at Judy Masters Oval.
Twenty one wickets fell with Corrimal making 146 after dismissing the home side for just 103.
Balgownie have made a better start in their second dig and resume at 1-53, a lead of 10.
Meanwhile, Helensburgh wasted no time chasing an outright against Northern Districts after bowling out the visitors for just 93 at Helensburgh Oval. The Burgh declared at 2-97 with Norths to resume at 0-3.
Dapto (2-92) need another 53 runs with eight wickets in hand to beat Wests Illawarra (144) at Reed Park.
Greg Jones (38 not out) and Troy Gasseling (36no) return to the crease looking to set up a big total before making Wests bat a second time.
Port Kembla resume at 1-56 chasing Wollongong's 200 at North Dalton Park.
Matt Harivel (54) top scored for Wollongong, while Anthony Purdevski took 4-43 for Port.
Finally, premiers Keira (0-41) need a huge batting performance chasing University's 283 at Keira Oval.
Uni were 3-15 and 7-115 but Vijay Karthik turned the game with a brilliant 106.
