All-rounder Sam Bracey took two wickets and made 76 to spearhead Shellharbour to victory over premiers Albion Park at Tom Willoughby Oval.
New skipper Todd Cordes, with a fine 87, and Bracey led the way in Saturday's 45-run victory.
The home side made 249 from their 50 overs and restricted the Eagles to 8-204.
Park skipper Adam Coughlan (48) and Zac Jurd (51 not out) top-scored while Bracey snared 2-31 and Jarryd Olsson 3-27.
Albion Park are the only club in the new six-team Premier League without a win after two rounds, while Lake Illawarra are the only unbeaten team following an emphatic six-wicket home win over Kookas.
New Lakers skipper Brendan White backed up his unbeaten 72 against Oak Flats in round one with an undefeated 63 as the home side chased down a mere 140 with 20 overs to spare.
The Lakers won by seven wickets against arch-rivals Oak Flats and already look the team to beat.
"We put in a big pre-season, six weeks of batting and bowling to prepare for the season and it's paying dividends," White said.
"Oak Flats and Kookas are probably the two top sides so to beat them shows we are doing things right."
Mark Ulcigrai (3-12), White (3-24) and new Welsh signing Brett Hole (2-34) had Kookas on the back foot, with only Brodie Billet (31) and Callum de Bruyn (23) passing 20.
Ben Morrow took 4-27 to spearhead Oak Flats to a strong four-wicket win over Kiama at Cavalier Park.
Opener Nathan Barr saved Kiama from embarrassment, making 94 out of the team's 147.
Barr was the last man dismissed, caught on the boundary, with Phil Dell'Orefice (3-39) and Rob McMahon (3-21) lending support to Morrow.
Kerry Penfold (53), Darren Mansfield (39) and Matt Counsell (25 not out) led the way with the bat for the Rats.
The revamped six-team Premier League begins with five one-day games before the first two-dayer in round six on November 22.
There are no first grade games this Saturday, with the South Coast representative team defending the Burns Cup title.
Ladder: Lake Illawarra 28, Kiama 16, Kookas 16, Oak Flats 16, Shellharbour 16, Albion Park 4.
