Court documents have revealed the driver of a car that caused the accident in which well-known South Coast fund-raiser and Christmas light enthusiast Scott Morrison was killed was affected by methamphetamine at the time.

Scott Morrison and Nowra East man Peter Barclay died in a collision on Culburra Road, west of the Culburra Beach township, on August 16.
Although the coroner dispensed with an inquest into the accident, documents stated that Barclay was affected by methamphetamine at the time he was driving the car.
The papers said his car veered into the oncoming vehicle, which Mr Morrison and his wife Brenda and children Lilly, 7, and Charlotte, 4, were travelling in.
At Mr Morrison’s funeral his wife Brenda said the word hero was often bandied around but she had no doubt her husband, in turning the wheel of the car at the last moment to ensure he took the full impact of the accident, saved their lives.
