The North Wollongong service is set to offer regular exercise sessions for its supported employees, under a new partnership with Wollongong trainer Chodat Fitness.
CEO Chris Christodoulou said the program was important, given many people with disabilities struggled to manage their weight.
"The fact is that many of our employees, because of the nature of their disability, are a bit overweight," he said.
"We've always given them time to do stretches on the job, because of the nature of their work, but this is a way for them to get active on a regular basis."
Mr Christodoulou hoped nearly half of the service's 150 supported employees would take up the challenge, noting it was purely voluntary.
Chodat Fitness director Emily Chodat said the classes had been tailored for the specific ability level of the employees.
"While the workouts are designed to raise the heartbeat, activate muscle groups and increase flexibility, the main focus is demonstrating functional fitness and how to have fun keeping fit," she said.
The classes are part of the service's ongoing partnership with the group, which also includes fund-raising activities.
