The draw was made by former Adelaide United coach John Kosmina and Fox sports analyst Mark Rudan on Fox Sports on Friday night.
The National Premier League Victoria side is the outsider of the quartet left in the competition, but will hope that playing in Melbourne, with emotional home support, can get it over the line against the West Australians in the game due to be staged on November 11 or 12.
Perth knocked out Melbourne Victory in extra time in their quarter-final, winning 4-2 in WA.
"Any team was going to be difficult for us, but we are really happy to be there, " said Bentleigh coach John Anastasiadis after his side came out of the hat first. "It will be a magnificent occasion."
Bentleigh qualified for the last four in dramatic fashion, equalising against Adelaide City with just two minutes remaining in its quarter-final last Wednesday night before notching the winning goal in extra time.
In the other semi-final two weeks later, Adelaide United will host Central Coast Mariners.
