Batting at No 3, Trebel hit four boundaries and held the Corrimal innings together with the visitors dismissed in the 50th over for 175.
Callum Abba and Angus Harper took three wickets each for Wests, who resume at 0-17 on day two.
Among other highlights from Saturday's Illawarra junior competitions, Wollongong opener Hayden Welsh blasted 97 off just 69 balls as Wollongong made 207 against Thirroul in their under-16b game.
Dapto's Angus Murphy made an unbeaten 62 as Dapto (1-112) beat Port Kembla (40) in under 12s.
Also in under 12s, Seth Collier is unbeaten on 46 as Wests Blue made 1-120 against Keira Black (6-71).
In the under-14b competition, Aidan Cook (72) and Jacob Miners (50 not out) led the way for University (2-154) against Balgownie (1-102).
In under-16a, Brandon Redman (55) top scored for Wests (9-182) versus Corrimal, while Keira's Caelan Smith (50) led a solid team batting effort of 5-227 against Dapto.
In last Sunday's Sydney junior representative competitions, Hornsby (9-193) beat Illawarra (192) in the under-16s Watson Shield.
In the under-15s Weblin Shield, Tane Nunn scored an unbeaten 64 to lead Illawarra (5-125) to a strong win over Blacktown (123).
In the under-14s Moore Shield, ACT (9-236) beat Illawarra 7-215. Hornsby (180) beat Illawarra (81) in the under-13s Gee Shield, with St George (5-145) beating Illawarra (7-109) in the under-12s Cawsey Shield.
