Soft drink lids and broken beach toys, chip packets and old fishing line - all collected from Austinmer beach, and all repurposed into a mural to raise awareness of how littered some beaches can get.
"In Austinmer we are all beach families, and we need to look after our beaches," said organiser Louise Manner.
"There is sometimes a sense that someone else will come and clean things up, but it is all our responsibilities to keep things clean."
The project was inspired by environmental group Take 3, which advocates for beach-goers to pick up three pieces of litter each time they visit the ocean.
The mural, in the shape of the school's emblem, will hang as a lasting reminder to Austinmer students of what washes up along the coast, and that beaches need care.
