Trucks, motorbikes and billy carts were the star attractions during a big weekend for the Illawarra.
Thousands of people scrambled for the best vantage point as the 10th i98FM Camp Quality Convoy rolled through the region on Sunday, from West Cliff Colliery at Appin Road, down Mount Ousley, through Warrawong and on to Croome Road at Albion Park.
The trucks and motorbikes delighted the crowds, despite some early heavy rain, and organisers expect the final fund-raising tally for kids with cancer could top $1.5 million, compared with last year's $1.2 million.
Derek McMahon and the People's Truck led the Convoy after raising $1,090,277. Lead motorcycle was Camp Quality mum Bec Stewart, whose son has had cancer. She raised $60,000.
A crowd of about 15,000 enjoyed the entertainment at Croome Road, featuring Guy Sebastian and Dami Im.
Meantime, thousands again lined Wentworth Street on Saturday to watch speedy and not-so-fast billy carts barrel down the road at the 2014 Port Kembla Billy Cart Derby.
As well as checking out the races, the crowds enjoyed food stalls, an arts and craft market and sweet sounds from local musicians.
Troy Davey-Milne in Sniper II was the championship winner, while Taj Nobrega in Spitfire won the 7-10 years division.
