Some of the Sydney Swans' biggest names could be seen in the Illawarra and Southern Highlands next year for the annual Australia Post AFL Community Camps.
The 2012 AFL champions will help run a series of two-day camps around NSW on February 23-24.
Both Wollongong and Bowral are again among a list of community centres set to benefit from the program.
AFL regional co-ordinator for Illawarra and Southern Highlands, Dave Johnson, said it would again provide a boost for the sport in the region.
"It is a really good exercise. It is one we have done since 2005 and they have always been great events," he said
"We always try and include the schools, the clubs and the community as much as possible."
The Swans are expected to visit schools and hospitals, run football clinics and meet young players from local clubs while in the region - similar to their visit a year ago.
"We had a couple of large clinics last year, a dinner at North Dalton Park, and I think we probably had visited about eight schools which means we were looking at involving about 800-1000 people," Johnson said.
Swans coach John Longmire said the playing group was looking forward to the camps.
"The community camps are a great initiative and something the playing group really enjoy each year," Longmire said.
"It's great for the club to spend a few days in the community and to get out and about visiting fans in regional areas."
