The 18-year-old beat out hundreds of other dancers for a place at the world-renowned academy, and is preparing to move to New York to undertake the four-year program.
The Wollongong High School graduate has been dancing everything from contemporary to jazz, and specialised in ballet this year.
In August, she auditioned for the Joffrey ballet scouts with about 70 other hopefuls.
"We did a ballet class where we had to show the essentials of ballet so we were at the barre and then doing some movement."
When she received word that her audition had been successful, she was overjoyed but a little nervous about making the big move overseas.
"I've always lived in the Illawarra so it will be hard to move away from my family ... but I want to study with the best and I have to go to New York to do that."
Wollongong Elvis impersonator John "Elvis" Collins has organised a fund-raiser to help Chloe get to the US, hosting a "Bulli to Broadway" afternoon on November 30, with retro markets, vintage cars, rock'n'roll dancing and live music.
It is at Woonona Bulli RSL from 1pm to 6pm. Tickets are $20 and are available from 4284 1577.
