The annual Christmas-themed drinking procession turns 21 in 2014, and it has a few new treats for punters on December 13.
Each year attracting up to 10,000 revellers bedecked in elf, reindeer, snowman and of course Santa Claus costumes, the crawl takes over virtually every bar in Wollongong, raising much-needed funds for charity.
The 2013 event raised more than $50,000, and 2014's event will benefit the Salvation Army.
Pub crawl organiser, Neil Webster, said this year participants would have the chance to buy a $30 wristband that granted entry to the 23 venues.
"Rather than people paying entry at each venue, you can buy a $30 wristband online and get in everywhere. All of that is donated to charity, and there's also raffle prizes for people who buy the wristbands."
The pub crawl traditionally begins at North Wollongong Hotel, with a sea of Santas moving on to numerous CBD establishments.
Shuttle buses will run north and south from Wollongong to get people home safely, another bus will ferry people around town, and a number of free breath-test sites will operate on the night, and the next morning, for those planning to drive home.
Several Red Cross sites will operate throughout the evening, and a Rotary barbecue will be set up halfway along the long trek from North Wollongong into the CBD. See thesantaclauspubcrawl.com for more information.
