Queensland and Tasmania had spent the day playing their hearts out in the oppresive Brisbane heat but this wasn't an occasion to stand divided. After stumps, both teams gathered in a room, side by side, as a sombre Pat Howard spoke of Phil Hughes, the tragic accident and his ongoing fight for life in a Sydney hospital.
