Next year's rep coaches will check out the talent in men's and women's under-12s, 14s and 16s in the second of two trials.
Illawarra basketball have announced their junior representative Division 1 coaches for 2015.
Simon Dent is coaching the Division 1 boys under-12s, with Troy Jenner in charge of the girls under-12s Division 1 program.
Phil Mitchell is the under 14s boys coach with Dene MacDonald looking after the under-14 girls.
Darren O'Brien is boys under-16s coach with Justin Mangan looking after the under-16 girls.
Allan Glover is coach of the Division 1 under 18 boys, with Wendy Brown the 18s girls coach.
Kids looking to make their first Illawarra team in under 12s have had an opportunity to train with head coach Simon Dent in a four-week "Prep for Rep" program.
This Saturday's final trials begin with under 12 boys and girls (12.30-2pm) for kids born in 2004 or later. The 14s trials are from 2pm-3.30pm followed by the 16s trials (3.30pm-5pm ) and under 18s girls from 5pm-6.30pm.
The second trials of the men's under 18s are in Sydney at 10am. These trials are open to all players, with a $5 fee for taking part.
