The proposed store, catering for DIYers and tradies, is proposed for the corner of Jardine Street and the Princes Highway.
Masters NSW state development manager Troy Bryant said the planned store would create more than 300 new local job opportunities including more than 100 full time, part time and casual retail positions once the store is complete.
“Masters has partnered with local businessman John Williams to deliver this project and is looking forward to providing local customers with more than 35,000 products including paint, garden, hardware, tools, complete kitchens and bathrooms all at Australia’s best prices,” he said.
Masters stores also have an extensive drive-through trade area that will cater to the needs of tradies.
The proposed store will be 13,500 square metres and will have more than 300 car park spaces for customers.
Subject to development application approval, Masters is hoping to open the store in 2016.
