Ninety-year-old Warrawong resident Amelia Wallace has so many grandchildren and great-grandchildren her daughter Janice Miller finds it difficult to keep count.

Many of Mrs Wallace's large family gathered at Reddall Parade, Lake Illawarra, on November 23 to celebrate the matriarch's 90th birthday, travelling from Perth, Sydney and all over the Illawarra. Five generations posed for a photo, including the newest addition, great-great-granddaughter Lucy Hughes.

Mrs Miller, one of nine children, said it was lovely all being together.
