Warilla ladies had an early Christmas present after unfurling their Grade 1 pennant flag to mark winning this year's Illawarra District title.
Warilla club president Carol Groch welcomed the club's winning No 1 pennant team plus a host of District guests.
The players assembled on the green for the unfurling ceremony, performed by Groch and Illawarra District ladies president Thelma Lever.
Following the ceremony, the players enjoyed a game of bowls against a special District side before a commemorative lunch was served.
A day of club ceremonies concluded with Warilla BC making presentations to its various club and District champions in 2014.
Ashleigh Davis won the Minor Singles, with Wilmar Orth the runner-up.
The Senior Fours was won by Emelia West, Shirley Lindsay, Leone Barnett and Julea Morgan, with Mary Astill, Cathy Hamilton, Maureen Murphy and Norma Taylor winning the Open Fours.
Twins Natalie and Samantha Noronha took out the club and District Pairs, with Emelia West and Leone Barnett the club runners-up.
Julea Morgan took out the Warilla Major Singles and District Singles double with Barbara O'Donnell, Trish Orgill and Julea Morgan the District Triples champions.
