The black tie dinner, to be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Novotel Wollongong Northbeach on February 3, will feature O'Connor Marsden & Associates principal Jerrold Cripps speaking on the topic of "ICAC - Time for a Change".
Mr Cripps has more than 30 years professional services experience.
Since 1980 he has served as a judge of the District Court, judge and chief judge of the Land and Environment Court, judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, and judge of the Court of Appeal.
In 1994, he retired from the bench and for six years was special counsel to Allen, Allen and Hemsley.
He returned to the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal from 1999 to 2004.
He was the commissioner of the Independent Commission Against Corruption for a five-year non-renewable period and later became acting commissioner of the Police Integrity Commission.
A large portion of Mr Cripps' post-judicial life has been involved in exposing corruption in the public sector and people in the private sector who attempt to corrupt public officials.
He has spent a great deal of time educating public authorities, public officials and the public concerning corruption and its detrimental effects on public administration and on the community.
The February meeting will also be the last one in an official capacity for executive officer Sharon Wingate.
At the AGM in December the TIC board of directors was advised that Mrs Wingate had accepted a full-time executive role at IRT and resigned as executive officer of The Illawarra Connection.
President Roger Summerill said she had made a wonderful contribution during her year in the role.
"We are genuinely sorry to see her leave us," he said.
"However, at the same time, we are happy for her as she embarks on a new opportunity."
A replacement was sought for Mrs Wingate during December, with the position first being circulated to membership.
