Residents are expected to flock to Wollongong Harbour to celebrate Australia Day.
The foreshore area was the place to bring in the New Year and Wollongong City Council will once again host family-friendly activities there on January 26.
Events kick off at 8am with the Australia Day Aquathon and community walk and will continue through the day with water activities, games and entertainment.
Wollongong's Lang Park will host performers until 8.30pm, with the kids' stage in Osborne Park entertaining young ones until 5pm.
Thousands of people are expected to line the foreshore to watch the impressive fireworks display from 9pm.
"This family-friendly day has something for everyone and continues to be one of our city's most popular annual events," Wollongong Lord Mayor Gordon Bradbery said.
"I'm looking forward to celebrating with our community."
Councillor Bradbery made special mention of the citizenship ceremony at Wollongong Town Hall at 10.30am to welcome 80 new citizens.
Wollongong's 2015 Australia Day Ambassador is Lynne Williams. Born and educated in Wollongong, she's the chief executive of drama institute NIDA.
Event-goers can drive to JJ Kelly Park and catch a free bus, every 15 minutes from noon-11pm. The free Gong Shuttle will also operate from 6am-11pm.
