Almost eight years after arriving in Wollongong, Larry Davidson will chalk up his 200th game for the Hawks on Friday night against Adelaide.
The 209cm centre played 80 games over three seasons with Hunter and Singapore before joining the Hawks in 2007-08.
Davidson, who turned 32 on Monday, will become just the sixth Wollongong player in the club's 36-year history to reach the 200-game milestone.
The others - Gordie McLeod, Mat Campbell, Glen Saville, Chuck Harmison and Melvin Thomas - have all had their playing jerseys retired by the Hawks.
Big Laz showed there is still life in the old dog in Sunday's five-point loss to Adelaide. He tallied eight points and 14 rebounds, tumbled to the floor three times after tangling with opponents and also earned a technical foul for letting a referee know what he thought of a call in the third quarter.
Hoopla sends its congratulations and best wishes to the man of a thousand hair-dos for a big game on Friday.
The Hawks haven't had much to celebrate this season but it'd be fitting if Davidson's 200th game was a triumphant occasion.
