Junior registrations increased by almost 800 boys and girls in 2014 and record-breaking numbers are expected to turn out from under 6s to under 17s in 2015.
Players can be registered online through the myfootballclub.com.au website or check with their local club for registration over the next two weekends.
The Football South Coast website footballsouthcoast.com lists all member clubs and has links to their website with the times for the registration days on Saturday January 31 and Saturday Feb 7.
‘‘With the success of the Asian Cup and the massive number of teams last season we’re expecting another excellent turnout,’’ Football South Coast CEO and managing director Ann-Marie Balliana said.
Last year 8500 boys and girls played junior football in Football South Coast, with 1300 kids playing summer football.
With big numbers expected again it is important players are officially registered by the registration period to ensure they are placed in a team.
Enquiries about the registration process can also be made through the Football South Coast office on 42 856 929.
