And they are doing it by giving up to 100 horse enthusiasts the chance to bring a four-legged friend to Ride With Pride pride for seven days on a charity horse ride near Gundagai.
Tony Hart is one of two organisers who have been involved with staging such fundraisers in recent years.
The last two have raised over $130,000 for charity but this is the first time they have staged it for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Mr Hart said he and co-organiser De'hanne Keir had been looking for a charity to support in 2015 when they heard about the great work Nina Field and her team were doing in Wollongong.
"Nina Field was wonderful and said this was something totally new for them," he said.
"They they have been fantastic in assisting us with all aspects of it including getting the website up and operational and allowing people to register online.
Mr Hart is the general manager and director of technical training with the Australian Trail Horse Riding Association (ATHRA).
And the week-long charity ride is hosted by the ATHRA Club at Albion Park known as the Horsepitality Club, of which he and Ms Keir are both members.
And horsepitality pretty much sums up the event.
"People can enjoy a riding experience of their life with seven days' breathtaking scenery and great company," Mr Hart said.
Ride With Pride is a fully catered week-long event from March 21 to 28 from a beef and cattle property called Cotways at Adjungbilly.
Riders have two options for how they would like to experience the beautiful trails and rivers each day.
"What we do is we take out two groups daily," Mr Hart said.
"We take out the Walk and Talk Group out for those who want to walk and talk all the time and there is the Banter and Canter Group which is faster. And people can change groups."
Mr Hart said having so many horses coming together for the first time was a different experience for most horses.
But because of the training members of ATHRA have the volunteers know what to expect and how to manage and plan the ride accordingly.
