The first, on February 19, will feature international marketing expert Camille de Picot, of Wellness First International, as guest speaker.
That will be followed by another in May on service in human centre design and the third is planned for September on the topic of contact centre business intelligence.
Peoplecare Business Process Improvement manager Tory Macri is the Illawarra representative for Auscontact, which is the association for contact centres around the nation. It was formerly known as the Australian Teleservices Association.
Last year Mr Macri worked closely with Nigel McKinnon and his team at Trade & Investment as well as the Wollongong City Council and the Wollongong Innovation Campus as part of the Advantage Wollongong group to promote the industry as a growing and viable employment segment for the region.
He is keen to build on that momentum in 2015.
Mr Macri has been an active member of the association since 2001, bringing together managers and leaders from within the Illawarra contact centre community as a means to network and share ideas and experiences related to all aspects of contact centre management.
"Four years ago I joined the NSW chapter as the Illawarra representative, so that the Illawarra could benefit in the region from activities and events usually held only in Sydney, while increasing the profile of the regional industry beyond our area in an effort to attract new business opportunities," he said.
