The 22-year-old is set to move to LA next month to start work on three series, which he hopes will be picked up by a major broadcaster.
Mr Scott is set to write and star in the shows - a dream come true for a budding playwright.
"This is what I've wanted to do since I was three so it's an incredible feeling," he said.
"You never think you'll be given an opportunity like this so I just want to grab it and jump in."
Mr Scott went over to the US earlier this month for a professional actor's masterclass with the Australian Institute for Performing Arts.
The stint included gigs with casting directors involved with shows like American Horror Story and Days of Our Lives, as well as meeting agents and managers.
Mr Scott was approached by a growing production company, who had heard of his musical satire Jurassic, and offered a three-year deal to produce three series.
"They're quite short series and all a bit different," he said.
"One is about a guy who eats shitake mushrooms and sees dead people; another is about people living in a share-house and the hijinks that ensue when someone becomes successful; the other is close to my heart - it's about actors going to auditions and failing miserably.
"I'm just hoping one of them might be picked up and made into big things."
