Illawarra Diggers will march into WIN Stadium on April 25 to mark the 100th anniversary of the Anzacs' ill-fated assault at Gallipolli.
City of Wollongong RSL Sub-Branch president Peter Poulton said the Anzac Centenary would be huge.
"The march will start as it did last year in Church Street but the veterans will march onto WIN Stadium," Mr Poulton said.
"There will be band recitals, followed by Wongawilli Band singing Australiana songs, followed by a 200-strong choir from Southern Stars and then a solemn service."
Up to 150 Australian Defence Force personnel will also march.
Meantime, the journey of the RSL Anzac Flame across Australia is now complete.
It began in Albany, Western Australia, in September 2014, the same departure point as 11,410 brave Diggers 100 years ago.
On February 14, the flame arrived at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra, to be greeted by Victoria Cross recipients Ben Roberts-Smith and Daniel Keighran, Australian War Memorial director Dr Brendan Nelson and RSL national president Rear Admiral Ken Doolan.
The Australian Federation Guard presented the Anzac Flame to RSL sub-branch representatives to take back to their cities and towns. Wollongong RSL was represented by Queanbeyan RSL Sub-Branch president Matt Helm, standing in for Mr Poulton, who was unable to attend.
Mr Poulton said the eternal flame is "a reminder of the sacrifices made and the mateship of those people who served".
Residents across Australia and New Zealand will be invited to join in a special Camp Gallipolli night of remembrance.
