The humble metal pole which allows users to indulge in long-range photography has drawn complaints since its introduction to popular culture in 2013.
WIN Sports and Entertainment Centre general manager Stuart Barnes said management would consider banning what has been called "the wand of Narcissus"
"We will consider it depending on the event and what impact the selfie stick has on others," Mr Barnes said.
While he said the venue hadn't encountered a situation where a patron complained, it would possibly enact a policy banning the sticks from certain events if it became a problem.
"As always, we have the view that you can behave in a way that doesn't intervene with the enjoyment of other patrons.
"If seated on the flat in general admission, it's not going to be in anyone's view," Mr Barnes said.
Dragons players Will Matthews and Dan Hunt handed out the sticks while posing with students for selfies during the O-Week event launched by St George Bank.
Soundwave festival recently joined events like the Australian Open and venues such as The Sydney Entertainment Centre in banning the sticks for smartphones.
The venues and events have cited safety and the possibility of the stick blocking the views of other people to justify their decisions.
