An unambitious thief or thieves with a penchant for old concrete has confused a Warilla couple after making off with six pavers from their garden path.

The burglar's choice of target has left his victims more baffled than devastated.
The pavers were at least 20 years old, worth nothing in resale, and heavy enough to hinder a getaway attempt.
"We were gobsmacked," said Peter Nicholson, 85.
"Those pavers were probably 10-20kgs each. They were embedded in there and wouldn't have been easy to remove.
"It's surprising what some people will steal."
The irregular shaped lumps of concrete went missing from the Nicholson's Lake Entrance Road lawn on Wednesday night.
"I probably won't bother replacing them, I'll just fill the holes in with that red scoria on the path there now," he said.
