Lady Gaga, Julie Andrews and The Sound of Music steal the Oscars show

So Lady Gaga sang The Sound of Music and she sang well, dressed not in raw beef this time but a flowing white ball gown. The pop star received a standing ovation for her medley of songs from the film, which this year marks its 50th anniversary. Then its star, Julie Andrews, walked on stage and received a standing ovation too.
