Gai Waterhouse and Team Hawkes will wait until later in the week to decide if unbeaten colts Headwater and Vancouver will clash in Saturday's Todman Stakes at Randwick or wait for the Golden Slipper.

The two impressive colts top Golden Slipper betting, with Headwater the favourite after treating his rivals with disdain in the Silver Slipper.
Co-trainer Michael Hawkes said Headwater would mostly likely accept for the race but weather could play a role in the decision if he started.
Headwater took favouritism from Vancouver, which won the Breeders' Plate and Canonbury Stakes, and Waterhouse said he was likely to run at Randwick on Saturday.
"He has come on since that last win and we could give him another run on Saturday," Waterhouse said. "He is a good colt and is very fit. That gives us the option of going straight to the Slipper. It just depends on what he does this week."
Godolphin will start Furnaces in the Todman Stakes and he will be looking to earn a place in the Golden Slipper next to Lonhro Plate winner Haptic and Exosphere, which was dominant in the Skyline Stakes on Saturday.
Waterhouse is also excited about the prospect of English stepping up in the Reisling Stakes. Like Exosphere, she is a last-start Kembla Grange winner.
"She is a very nice filly and I'm sure she is going to be in the mix for the Slipper," Waterhouse said.
