Household names Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Lisa Wilkinson are a small part of the treat at Illawarra's International Women's Day (IWD) forum on Friday.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the IWD committee has brought out the big guns for the anniversary event at WIN Entertainment Centre.
Guest speaker Wilkinson and panel facilitator Kennerley will be joined by Melva Crouch, Nikki Gemmell, Nieves Murray and Deb Wallace.
The March 6 showcase will also feature a special performance from Mary "Effie" Coustas, while Diana Rouvas, a top-eight finalist on The Voice 2012, will provide most of the entertainment on the night.
The 31-year-old Sydney-based singer/songwriter will perform acoustically with guitarist Eric Aranda, including a stirring rendition of Helen Reddy's classic anthem I Am Woman in her set.
IWD Illawarra committee chair Vicki Tiegs said Rouvas was the perfect addition to the event line-up, which included a number of high-profile women.
"This year is extra special for us because we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the formation of our committee and we want to make it a memorable event," she said.
"Diana embodies everything International Women's Day celebrates. She is a strong, independent woman who is empowered to chase her dreams, will not take no for an answer and determined to follow her true path in life. Her talent is incredible and I have no doubt her performance will be a showstopper."
The theme of this year's International Women's Day Illawarra event is empower, evolve and educate. Men and women of the region are invited to attend. Tickets cost $120 per person.
