Bean from Thirroul was selected as first runner up with a photo of him reading the paper in bed with PJ's, glasses and a cup of tea.
Mr Tee from Mt Keira was chosen as second runner up with a picture of him reading the Merucry's digital edition.
Max the Mercury newshound, the Mercury’s official doggy mascot, was impressed with all the creative photos of pooches bringing the news to the region.
