The top youngsters from under 12s to under 18s competed in clean waves of up to a metre for the Illawarra crown and to qualify for the state titles.
"The event was a great success and the level of surfing continues to get better every year," Surfing Illawarra president Paul Charlton said.
Surfers from all the major clubs have qualified for the state titles and, following excellent results last year, there are high expectations of more Australian champions from this region in 2015.
Among the leading surfers to claim the Bluescope WIN Illawarra title was Kiara Meredith who took out the Girls under 16s in a hard-fought final with Hanna Byron.
Kiara competed in the Australian titles last year and is well on track to do so again this year.
In under 18s, Joel Wood landed an exceptional inverted air reverse in the Boys final to steal victory from Shellharbour's Jarrod Szele.
Wood landed the only perfect 10-point score of the day and backed up his good recent results by winning the Sandon Point Boardriders Open division final the following weekend.
The other Illawarra junior champions are Lennix Smith (under 12s Boys), Oceanna Rodgers (under 12s Girls), Fin McLaren (under 14s Boys), Charli Hurst (under 14s Girls), Keanu Miller (under 16s Boys) and Billie Melinz in the under 18s Girls division.
