Shoalhaven Police have charged a man after several houses were broken into and the occupants threatened with a knife.

The first alleged incident occurred at 9.45pm on February 23, at a home in Idlewood Avenue, Sanctuary Point.
Police say a 71-year-old man was in his home when a man forced his way inside and allegedly threatened the senior citizen with a knife before fleeing with cash and other property.
In a separate incident on March 11, a 77-year-old man was at his home on Macleans Point Road at Sanctuary Point, when two men broke in.
Police allege the pair demanded cash before assaulting the man and taking his wallet and credit cards.
Upon investigating, Shoalhaven police found the stolen credit cards were used to withdraw funds from numerous ATMs.
Arrest warrants for a 19-year-old man were issued in relation to the alleged incidents and Goulburn police arrested him after an incident at a local bottle shop.
The man was taken to Goulburn Police Station, where he was later charged with special aggravated break and enter with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, dishonestly obtain property by deception (five counts), shoplifting as well as outstanding warrants.
He was due to appear before Goulburn Local Court on Saturday.
