Man bitten by snake near Bald Hill
A 47-year-old man has been taken to hospital after being bitten by a snake near Bald Hill on Saturday afternoon.

Ambulance officers said the man was bitten on the calf by a snake only identified as black.
The bite occurred while the man was walking on the track at the Otford Lookout.
Ambulance officers walked in and stabilised the man. At one stage they planned to winch the man out however crews decided to carry him out of the bush to a waiting ambulance.
