From Christmas to Australia Day, through to the 100th anniversary of the South Coast Group Seven Rugby League competition, the window's contents became a talking point for customers and passers-by.
But when it comes to Anzac Day, that tribute has long since left the Harbourside Takeaway window and taken over the whole shop.
Books and newspapers line the counters and display cabinets, pictures and posters adorn the walls, while items on shelves have made way for 45 collectable Anzac biscuit tins.
"People just keep giving me things and it spread throughout the shop," Ms Crouch said.
"People have brought in copies of honour rolls and posters, things I have never seen ... and I have no idea where people find them.
"It is a conversation starter."
