Tony Abbott's new political face

Have you noticed?

Tony Abbott has changed tactics.

When interviewed on TV, Tony is no longer the finger-pointing, bully boy, laying protest to the Gillard government's carbon tax.

No. The serious and concerned Tony stares directly at the camera, frowns slightly, and with deliberation slowly says his piece.

Tony reinvented, now the thoughtful-sober-trustworthy-politician.

Hmm ...

Would not have anything to do with parental leave and a tax on business, would it?

I noticed in today's paper (SMH, April 13), Tony Abbott reaffirmed the Coalition would abolish the carbon tax and all the compensation that went along with it.

On the same day shadow treasurer Joe Hockey announced the Coalition would, besides abolishing the carbon and mining taxes, deliver personal and business tax cuts if elected.

Makes you wonder if the Coalition's business tax is going to be a whopper.
