The nine-week-old baby, its mother and aunt also escaped the house fire on the NSW mid-north coast
A spokesperson said the Westpac rescue helicopter was called at 7.30pm on Friday to The Esplanade at North Arm Cove, where a two storey house was on fire.
A Fire and Rescue NSW spokesperson said all of the occupants had evacuated the house.
The baby was treated for extensive burns to its body before being flown to Westmead Children’s Hospital.
A hospital spokeswoman said her condition was stable on Saturday morning.
Two adults were taken to Royal North Shore Hospital.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
