A clutch two-pointer with 11 seconds remaining from US recruit Nnaebuka Anyaorah sealed the Canberra Gunners' first win of the South-East Australia Basketball League season at Dandenong on Saturday night.

With scores level 86-all, Anyaorah (16 points) held his nerve to drain the match winner and help the Gunners break their duck after losses to Albury-Wodonga and Mt Gambier to start their campaign.
Canberra's bench contributed just eight points but their starters stepped up to be counted.
Sydney Kings point guard and skipper Daniel Joyce (21 points, six assists, four rebounds) led from the front, with fellow NBL players Luke Jamieson (18 points) and Ben Allen (19 points, seven rebounds, three assists) also playing strongly.
In the women's match not even big games from Canberra Capitals WNBL regulars Stephanie Talbot (24 points, 12 rebounds, three assists) and Jess Bibby (16 points, three assists) could stop Dandenong registering a comfortable 104-74 win.
The Gunners will play their first home game of the season against Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence on Tuesday from 7pm at Belconnen Basketball Stadium.
The Canberra Capitals Academy will take on the same opponent on Thursday night.
