A haunting image of the Indonesian flag dripping blood and a painting of a human heart - Myuran Sukumaran has used art to express his final feelings before his execution at the hands of a firing squad.

The collection of images was on Tuesday brought back from Nusakambangan penal island, where he was put to death in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The painting of a heart, which is signed by all nine prisoners facing execution, is inscribed "Satu hati satu rasa didalam cinta - (one heart, one feeling in love)".
Another powerful image is a rendition of the Indonesian flag - a red stripe over a white stripe - with the red stripe bleeding down.
They are the latest in an extraordinary series of death row paintings with haunting inscriptions such as "72 hours just started", "A BAD SLEEP LAST NIGHT" and "Self portrait: Time is ticking".
One prisoner signed the painting with "God bless Indonesia". Another, Filipino mother Mary Jane Veloso who earned a last-minute reprieve from the firing squad, called on people to "keep smiling".
On Monday the Bali nine pair's Australian lawyer Julian McMahon brought back a self portrait of Sukumaran's torso with a black hole over the heart.
Sukumaran, along with his fellow prisoner and convicted Bali nine drug smuggler Andrew Chan, was shot dead at 12.35am local time (3.35am AEST).
Relatives and friends of the condemned were in a tent near the killing field and became hysterical when the shots were heard, a source told Fairfax Media.
Among those in the tent were Chan and Sukumaran's Australian lawyer, Julian McMahon, Bayside Church senior pastor Christie Buckingham and Salvation Army minister David Soper, who were allowed to spend precious last hours with the Australians.
Tony Spontana, spokesman for the Indonesian Attorney-General, said the bodies of Chan and Sukumaran would be flown back to Australia after being driven to Jakarta in an ambulance.
