Weatherzone's Rob Sharpe said there was good news in the forecast for the next week or two. A series of cold fronts are likely to move across southern Australia, producing a westerly flow for NSW that will sometimes poke into Queensland.

Monday's forecast is for possible showers with the cloud clearing by Tuesday for sunny days to Saturday.
