Herbert Hanley landed in drizzly conditions at Stuart Park Saturday afternoon, as about 20 relatives looked on.
A Skydive the Beach staffer helped him from the soggy park to solid ground, where his walking stick and "ears" (hearing aids) were restored to their positions.
"I told my grandkids if and when I turn 90, I'd do a skydive," said Mr Hanley, of Caringbah, who in fact jumped twice to celebrate his 90th birthday because the photography on the first jump malfunctioned.
"Then I told them, if and when I turn 95 ..."
There to witness Saturday's achievement, Ron Hanley, 86, said he would not be following in his brother's footsteps.
"Though you never know do you. My brain might deteriorate," he joked.
Mr Hanley jumped with his granddaughter Debbie Dunk and great-grandson Mathew Dunk not far behind.
