After weeks of cool wet weather the Illawarra enjoyed summery conditions, with the mercury topping 27 degrees at Albion Park and 25 degrees along the coast.
The sunshine is here to stay, but cooler weather is forecast for the rest of the week with top temperatures around 18-19 degrees through to Saturday, while overnight temperatures will drop to 12 degrees.
