A man missing near Macquarie Pass has been found safe and well after a major search effort this afternoon.
Scott Brownlow, 47, last spoke with his mother at 3pm yesterday, but had not been seen or heard from since.
Police said Mr Brownlow suffers from a medical condition and there were serious concerns for his welfare.
He was found unhurt in bushland near Macquarie Pass about 1.40pm after a search involving police from Lake Illawarra, POLAIR, a dog unit, police rescue, the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command and State Emergency Service.
