It's taken 200 hours to complete, with thread sourced from across Canberra and only centimetres to spare but these volunteers are proud to have created Princess Charlotte's new baby blanket.

Princess Charlotte's birth last week prompted the Prime Minister's department to approach the ACT Embroiderers' Guild - whose work has a long history with Parliament House.
"It is an honour to be given the job to do it," Audrey Schultz, one of the guild members involved in sewing the wattle design onto the blanket, said.
"[It's] nice to know that they think we're capable."
Guild president Di Ballantyne created the deceptively complicated design from scratch, with Australia's national flower - the Golden Wattle - the only element on an otherwise plain blanket made of Tasmanian wool.
"The design brief was: Australian, local and as local as we could find," Ms Ballantyne said.
"The wanted us to use local threads as well, so that put a bit of a limit on what we could use," Ms Schultz said.
The guild tried to find Australian cotton to no avail but by "serendipity", Ms Ballantyne had Mogear thread from the Yass valley, which had been awarded to the guild on the organisation's 50th birthday.
Guild members Marjorie Gilby, Lesley Fusinato, Jan Hure and Ms Schultz set to work, with the four forced to butt elbows as they huddled around the design at the centre.
Hand embroidery is a very slow process and according to Ms Ballantyne, a job like this would normally have taken six months but the guild had to finish it in a week, with early morning and late finishes. Unfortunately no coffee or tea was allowed anywhere near the blanket.
"There's a lot of reward in seeing it," Ms Gilby said.
Ms Gilby said that when they began it was hard to foresee the completed design but now she was impressed.
The wattle leaves themselves are extremely detailed, with each leaf requiring hours of meticulous sewing.
The guild even went so far as to sew in blossoms which had "flown off the stem", an idea of secretary Lynn Baldwin.
"We do keep trying to pick them up, because we think it's fluff or lint," Ms Ballantyne said.
"We were just thrilled to bits and we're still pinching ourselves trying to figure out why we got chosen."
The federal government has also donated $10,000 to Healesville Sanctuary, to support its work conserving the Australian Mountain Pygmy-possum, in honour of the newborn princess.
