Jordan played a key role in helping the Taipans win the minor premiership and grand final for the 2015 NSW Futsal State League season.
Jordan was named most valuable player for the Taipans under 17s girls. The award follows her being named player of the year in the under 17s girls NSW State League competition in 2014-15 after her talented Taipans team won the grand final.
She also plays soccer for the Illawarra Stingrays, with her 2014 U17s team winning the grand final of the Women's Premier League 1 competition.
"The award means that Abi's coach put her name forward as the best player in his team of 10 or so and each coach of the other teams did the same," Cedars Sport teacher Mark Wynn said. "Out of approximately 100 players, Abi was voted as the best."
She has also been invited to train with the top Women's Futsal team in NSW, the Futsal equivalent of the A-League and W League for the men and women in the 11-a-side game.
"It is early days being part of their training squad, but it is a foot in the door," Wynn said. "Abi has also been selected in our CSSA [Christian Schools Sports Association] Open Girls team for football to compete at both the CIS[Christian Independent Schools] trials and the National CSSA Games on the Gold Coast in May."
