The IAS staff ensured that they practice what they preach by taking part in the 2015 Plebs, Pros and Personalities 24-hour run for Suicide Prevention Australia (PPP4SPA).
Just as they ask the IAS athletes to support the local community as part of their holistic development, the staff are also prepared to give back to the community.
PPP4SPA is an event held to raise as much money and, more important, awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
The event isn't about who can run the farthest, but about encouraging each other to push through the pain and help each other out when things get difficult ... exactly what we need to do when we have friends facing the battle of mental health problems and suicidal thoughts.
Over the two years it has been held PPP4SPA has grown from two to 20 treadmills, one to five locations and raised over $150,000 for Suicide Prevention Australia.
Not only has there been over 1000 people participate so far, it has reached thousands more Australians through both traditional and social media coverage.

CLEAVEN WINS AUSTRALIAN TITLE
IAS cycling squad athlete Kirk Cleaven has claimed the 2015 13 years boys' Australian title at the 2015 Subaru BMX National Championships.
It was a dominant display from the young BMXer, who was racing the top 66 riders from across the country in his age group.
Cleaven was one of five riders who won their three motos (seeding races) leading into the deadman qualifiers.
The qualifiers were eight competitors per race with the top four continuing on to the next round.
Kirk was consistent on the road to the final, winning his eighths race, finishing second in the quarters and first in the semis.
This set the scene for a great final with the other five dominant riders from the motos each having similar qualifiers and the final was going to pit the best riders against each other for a mad dash to the Australian title.
Kirk's dominance from his earlier races continued in the final, leading out of the gates and getting passed on the inside at the first turn before regaining the lead moments later and accelerating away to once again cross the line first to claim the 2015 Australian title.
Kirk also won the State v State 13 years boys' Dynamite Championships.
This pitted the best riders from each state's Dynamite Series Championships compete in the final to crown the national champion.
